Utility bill & invoice payments, funds transfers & virtual debit cards

From savings and loans, stock trading, international payments and wealth management an increasing number of African technological companies are taking traditional banking services normally run by a bank and doing it much better.

Almost every financial service that is offered by a bank is now also offered - or soon will be - by a financial technology (FinTech) company. Along with greater choice comes better services that are faster and of better value. Airvend is using technology to innovate financial payments in Nigeria.

Started with a wireframe, ended in a masterpiece.

The Challenge

To design a mobile application with features including utility bills payment, airtime & internet subscription, virtual dollar debit cards, & funds transfer with customers' ease of use as one of the key project end goal.

Carrying out this project was feasible through the use of certain tools which came in handy. Sketch, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator as well as Zeplin were engaged in achieving certain operations. An added value information is my use of Ruby on Rails effectively in the development of the backend application which the mobile application runs off.
